Curriculum at St. Nicholas Academy

St. Nicholas follows the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Graded Courses of study. These are professionally designed curricula, carefully researched and structured by trained educators and specialists. Each curriculum has been prepared for Kindergarten through 12th grades.

St. Nicholas Academy offers a variety of programs and due to the fact that the elementary school is an integral part of three parishes, St. Nicholas Academy strives to provide programs that other elementary schools in the region can not provide.

As an example, St. Nicholas Academy offers a second language program to all grades (Spanish), as well as opportunities for artistic enrichment (after school piano lessons, etc).

St. Nicholas Academy recognizes the dignity of each child and supports his/her endeavor to achieve a positive self-esteem and healthy self-discipline.

Spiritual and Moral Values

Our Catholic commitment provides for the nurturing of spiritual and moral values within our students. Our values are constantly reinforced not only in classes of religious instruction but throughout the curriculum and extracurriculars. The Gospel’s message is taught in our classrooms every day.

Community Service

St. Nicholas Academy exemplifies the importance of living the message of the Gospels by helping others. Our students participate in community service projects at the local, national, and international level. Our unique Seeds of Service program engages students of all ages in service projects.

Well Prepared for High School

Our students consistently score well above average on standardize tests and exceed Archdiocesan averages for all grades. Students graduating from St. Nicholas Academy are well prepared for high school and 97% pass the Ohio Graduation Test on the first attempt.
