“I have a unique perspective of St. Nicholas. I have been a teacher there since the school opened, and my 2 children both graduated from the school, one in our first class of 2008, and the other last year in 2011.
As a teacher, I could not ask for a better teaching environment, from the principal, to the other teachers, to the students and families. I feel supported and appreciated for the work I do.
As a parent, I am even more pleased. I feel that both of my children were very well prepared for high school. The teachers made it a point to give them an environment that helped them learn, but also helped each student prepare for what was coming. Both are leading very successful high school careers (one at the School for Creative and Performing Arts and one at St. Xavier), and I give the credit to the teachers and staff at St. Nicholas.”
